As use of the main University of Iowa Health Care hospital has increased, UIHC has pursued the development of remote clinics to better serve their patients. In 2017, that included the construction of a new clinic on North Dodge in Iowa City.

The new facility provides outpatient gynecological and pediatric services and also includes a pharmacy on site.
MMS Consultants provided civil engineering services for the site, surveying and mapping, site plans, including grading and erosion control, utilities, storm-water management, sewer and water main.
